Favorite Verse: Psalm 37:4“Delight yourself in the Lord and He will give you the desires of your heart”

My Testimony: I grew up knowing of who Jesus was and going to church but it wasn’t anything deeper than that. I grew up thinking a Christian was someone who just went to church on Sundays and believed in Jesus. I never understood who Jesus really was and what that meant for my life. I lived in the tension of constantly striving to earn love and approval. But the harder I tried, the more I realized that something was missing. I lived in the consequences of putting my purpose and identity in the temporary, broken things of this world. I was always left broken and never satisfied. I struggled to understand my purpose because it was always being taken away from me. Around this time, I was given a Sadie Robertson book and I started to dive into scripture and my eyes began to open and a curiosity of God’s character and will grew. The summer of 2021, I learned how to have a relationship with God and I saw my great need for Jesus! The gospel made sense, I repented, and I wanted to be all in. I found that my one true love and purpose was in Jesus and He fulfilled and satisfied all of me.
