Our History

Campus Outreach began in 1978 as the college ministry of Briarwood Presbyterian Church in Birmingham, AL. As the ministry began to grow into the state of Georgia, a local church adopted the staff ministering in that region, and thus the growth-model from Campus Outreach formed. Since then, Campus Outreach has expanded to over 20 regions through partnerships with local churches. Campus Outreach has been serving in Indiana since 2002 and is currently on the campuses of USI (University of Southern Indiana), IU (Indiana University), and IUI (Indiana University Indianapolis).

Our Vision

The vision of Campus Outreach is "Glorifying God by Building Laborers on the Campus for the Lost World." We seek to build laborers with a commitment to Jesus and His Great Commission through evangelism and discipleship. We are passionate about helping college students grow in their leadership, character, and faith.

Our Distinctives

Commitment to the local church: As an interdenominational Christian ministry, Campus Outreach believes in a strong relationship with the church. Each regional ministry is under the authority and leadership of a local hub church, which provides a crucial source of accountability, leadership, and resources. Campus Outreach Indianapolis is under the leadership and authority of Lifepoint Church.
